The implementation of the Medicare Part D drug benefit began on January 1, 2006. Medicare Part D will affect many people with disabilities in New York who receive both Medicaid and Medicare benefits. As part of our effort to train, educate and inform consumers, counselors, advocates, legislators, policy analysts and others, CIDNY staff is producing fact sheets, issue briefs and other educational tools for our website including information that is being published from other sources.
